Each year we visit a local farm. The Pumpkin Patch at Oak Haven Farm is a great way to give our preschoolers more knowledge about where their food comes from. Visiting farms is one of the most tangible ways to reconnect children with agriculture, coaching a new generation’s interactions with the food system. Visiting a farm can inspire young people to make healthier food choices that support local farm communities. This trip to the farm is always a great experience for our preschool families.
